YVES - Under Your Thumb, released + LIVE shows!
YVES are so prolific that they are currently releasing a tune a month, so that by the time you get to see them live (scroll down for some select live appearances) you will be able to sing and dance along like a mad thing.
Discerning music fans can stream their latest single (available from all good digital distributors), 'Under Your Thumb’, here and join in with whatever is going on, because it's very much a music fan recommending to others that goes one step beyond the usual word of mouth. With over 100,000 Spotify plays in just two weeks, ‘ones to watch’ is an understatement.
'Under Your Thumb' is a rush of influences that manage to sound classic and freshly squeezed at the same time. Cool and confidently vocalised sing-a-long meets driving layers of sound in a short, sharp, shake up of a song. Yves are sounding like they are gonna enjoy performing this live, very much, and that they want you to come with them.

The Story So Far

In May 2016 YVES released their 4 track EP ‘When The Day Comes’ - Lead track video, below and won so many young hearts instantly that within a year they have played key festivals – including Truck Festival, Y Not, Reading and Leeds - plus land mark clubs like This Feeling, multiple support tours and have been picked up by key industry to step up all over again this summer.
The band - Harry Roke, Mitchell Dodson and Finn Wilinson - are a favourite of noisy-fun lovers, and killing it on Spotify, where they have resided on coveted Indie List (for a couple of months).
By May 2017 they were picked up by the official (and massive) play lists Fresh finds , Fresh finds six strings and Hot new band in addition to remaining there! BBC Introducing and more are in support already.
Live Appearaces
YVES will make a very special live appearance, introducing them to the world via the increasingly influential #PirateLive streamed session events on June 28th. Stay tuned to the band's site (below) for news updates on that.
London gets a chance to experience all the above, at this early stage of the band's career, with a free gig on July 6th at Sebright Arms. It’s their first headline in the capital. Already, more than one taste maker blog is making it their business not to miss this.
With a fusion of influences in their own sound, YVES will headline home town show on July 8th at The Victoria, Swindon with Street Spirit (alt pop), GETRZ (indie grime) Tickets are only £4 from See Tickets (Click here).
