Sisteray, False Heads, Bête Noir - LIVE

Alternative rock: Sisteray new video, live show, plus candid pix of False Heads and Bête noire by Jeff Moh. Sisteray are consistently supporting, promoting and exposing their musical peers. Monefa Walker witnessed them with two more...

Recently it was another Friday night in Shoreditch, but with a twist. Crowds made more noise upstairs than

outside.

Our tour DJ, Disco Marky with lead singers, Luke from False Heads and Dan from Sisteray

Bête Noire are the kind of band you want to start your party off, with a bang. Very eccentric, very chic. It works for the image and dynamics they want to project. The vocalist is completely in his element, and the rest of the band absorbing the energy of the room. They want you to let your hair down, and let go (or in the vocalist's case, forget trousers and shake your bare bum cheeks!), This is definitely a band that owns the stage. It shows, and is superb.

False Heads are already getting lots of recognition after doing a blinding set at Camden Rocks and Isle of Wight Festivals. Forget any assumption you have if you haven't heard their music, as you will be pleasantly

surprised.

Just when you think you've managed to work out their song, the tempo and dynamics change instantly - and it

works so well for them. It's like hearing a calibration being perfectly put together with an amazing range of vocals, chords, key signatures and textures. They got the crowds moving to their rhythm, which is a definite sign they are here to stay, and not to be missed live!

Sisteray start with a grand entrance, making sure everyone is ready to make some serious noise. They are on a roll right now and they never fail to lose their magic at each gig. They building on this, only going higher and higher. They know how to draw in a crowd, as recently witnessed at Camden Rocks festival (where they actually played two venues - that's how good the crowd drawing thing is). Their lyrics are punchy, guitar riffs infectious and their stage presence is unique and vigorous.

New song ‘ Algorithm Prison' does not disappoint. This song can easily be another one that the fans will learn the words to. It has their signature style throughout, and the music hits you right where it’s needed. Their personal passions and values are heard in every line, every note and undeniably. It's a great example of what makes their performances flawless. This band love to push boundaries, and do it well, as heard in their single ‘Queen's English'. ‘White Knuckle Joyride' is clearly very popular! Everyone moving as soon as that intro came in. The whole place was singing. Perhaps it's going to be one of summer's anthems of this year!

A Sisteray gig leaves you feeling pumped, ready and waiting to hear them all over again. They already

have a following, and that army is only going to get bigger and better!
