Premiere: 'Maybe There'll Be Blood' by The Surrenders

The Surrenders release a brand new single ‘Maybe There’ll be Blood’. An engrossing primal yell set to the backdrop of suburban Britain. Orwellian in its shocking relevance, it musically resonates a neo-garage punk vibe, alluding to a debauched celebration.

“It’s an exposé on the uncertainty of modern times” (The Surrenders)

With previous singles ‘No Paper’ and ‘Shouldn’t Have to Dig’ being tipped as Radio X Track of the Week (announced during Gordon Smart’s prime-time show), you can bet this band are due to cause a stir with their latest contribution. 'Maybe There’ll be Blood’ is no less brilliant, with it's desperately lamented lyrics: 'Fingers ain't for painting, they're for sending texts... And who needs a girl when you've got internet sex?"

It's infectious from first listen. You have been warned.

Punchy, anthemic (and Slade tinted!), this is the sound of youthful ambition starting to be realised. It's exciting to see The Surrenders step up. Again!

Woven into our tale since last Spring, this Birmingham quartet burst onto the scene in 2017 - supporting Carl Barât for a sold out London show - and made their mark fast. the They appear to be yet another unstoppable Newer Wave force.

They've gone on to sell out shows across the UK and France, also playing landmark 2017 and 2018 festivals. Consistently going from strength to strength, they were recently featured tossing TVs from windows with Miles Kane on the infamous This Feeling TV, where they also performed alongside fast rising star, Tom Grennan.

Rocking. Rolling. (and celebrating 'Maybe There'll Be Blood' at forthcoming tour dates), The Surrenders return to France for the renowned Trans Musicales festival in December.
