Jeff Moh, yo, and a bottle of (Kraken) rum!

Thank you Camden Rocks Festival for a superlatively wonderful day out. It was, indeed, a rum do. Saturday 3 June was big day on the UK's rock n roll calendar, a gang of us Zeenagers were out having fun in the myriad venues London NW1.

The first images up are in. Photographer, Jeff Moh, has snapped no end of legends over the rock'n'roll decades, and shots from the weekend include Asylums at the Doc Marten's Store #StageStyle newly shod (and thank you for the free beers DM posse), Longy at the Kraken Rum Stage (thank you for the free shots!), Tokyo Taboo and Glam Skanks (above) at The Monarch. More (hic!) images/words and feedback to come. Keep an eye on this site and our social network pages. We feature awesome musicianship and ENTERTAINMENT.

LONGY

AThere was definitely a chilled out vibe at the Kraken Rum stage

Audiences and Musicians united in Camden's Stables Market with the bard, Longy (below)

TOKYO TABOO

Yes to the Corbyn #StageStyle too, Dolly Daggerz!

We fell hard for Tokyo Taboo last Summer, at Amersham Arms, definitely belong in this tale...

ASYLUMS

Just when you'd nearly mastered being a grown up, Asylums start to play

Once their Killer Brain Waves hit, you might as well just give in and rock out

WHAT a rush this band are. Always inject extra adrenaline into any festival bill!

GLAM SKANKS

Is it only one month since Hollywood's best rock n roll band were driving them crazy at our most recent live music social? It's already too long. Having just finished their tour dates with Adam Ant (where they picked up some fans who shouted out that they were here for them, today), they went and won a whole new load of fans in the packed up n down Camden Monarch, all over again. If you want to catch them in London before they depart for L.A. be at Nambucca on Friday 9th June for the show with fellow stars of this tale, Apeman Spaceman, SONS and loads more shenanigans until the early hours with our own Disco MarkY on the DJ decks.

We leave you (for now!) with pictures from a show that stunned Camden Rocks Festival...

Thank you for the use of your images, Jeff. Thank you for the love of your stars, Heather Minx.

On to the next adventures then... Back to the top of the page.
