Ashfields; 'We Don't Talk' - new video

Ashfields reveal emotional new video for 'We Don't Talk'.

Nominated as 'Best Rock Act of 2018' by UMA Awards, Ashfields are on a roll. They've also been recommended as "Nottingham's next big thing" by major British promoters, DHP family, and, most importantly have a special relationship with their fans. They even hand delivered tickets for the home town show on their forthcoming headline tour. The hard work is paying off, and with the well received and crafted, 'We Don't Talk', their potential is starting to shine ever brighter.

Ashfields are a stadium ready, alternative pop prospect, confirmed to appear at some of this year's hottest ticket events including Jimmy's Farm Festival in July with The Happy Mondays, and Mansion On The Moon -September 8th, supporting The Libertines. They'll also appear at Ynot, Dot to Dot, and more festivals.

The band have come a long way fast. Formed late 2015 in the small mining towns of Sutton-in-Ashfield and Kirkby-in-Ashfield, their fan bringing/winning tunes not only broke 2016's record for the most support slots in one year between Nottingham's Bodega and Rescue Rooms but then packed out their own shows.

Ashfields Released their debut EP ‘New Skin’ in 2017 with a sold-out show at The 220 capacity, Bodega. Since then, they've racked up over 175,000 Spotify streams and being featured on Spotify’s ‘Discover Weekly’ playlists. It is, therefore, no surprise the band have won multiple main stage festival slots already, headlining the massive Nottingham Riverside in 2017. They are the city's own. In addition, their fan base is spiralling towards 4,000 on Facebook in less than two years, 25,000 YouTube views in the last few months and now their own headline tour in June.

Having opened for Biffy Clyro and Brand New at Birmingham Arena, they are no strangers to the biggest of stages. What is remarkable is how they've harnessed the suss and self marketing of the newer wave DIY industry to make all this happen without a label or agent.

BBC Introducing East Midlands hails Ashfields as "absolute next level", and that's where 2018 is obviously taking them with 'We Don't Talk', and a rapidly expanding reputation.

Word is out, Ashfields are 'Almost Famous'!
