Ash's epic return with 'Annabel'
The talented trio from Downpatrick, Northern Ireland are back on top form. They have been well missed in the music scene, and are we're happy to see them back!
'Annabel' is the second single, from their upcoming seventh studio album 'Islands' which is released on May 18th (and was recently articled in TheZineUK). This track is giving us a little taste of not only what to expect,but reminds us of why we love Ash in the first place. They've always been consistent at conveying experiences, feelings and heartfelt anecdotes. Within the song, there's a conversation about pushing through the storm with a fierce determination and a lust for life.
The message is clear: don't wait for the right time, the right time is now. Regardless of what may be going on, hold that vision in your mind, keep your loved ones close and you'll make it through. We've all felt that loneliness at times going through our struggles.
Tim's encouraging vocals remind us, that it's important to reach out to those who love and care about you. The single release couldn't have come at a better time right now. We will live to see another sunrise, long as we come from a place of unconditional love. Simple but effective. I sense, this will be an album full of drive, fighting talk, beaming with sentimental effects.
