There She Is - Frank Turner Review

The first single from his up-coming album Songbook, set to be released on 24th November 2017, There She Is, is the love song that will leave you fantasying over marrying a musician just to have them write a song like this for you (and feeling jealous of whoever the lucky girl is that Frank is singing about.)

“There she is, isn’t she everything?” sings Frank, backed by uplifting and warming music, making it easy to note the genuine love and affection that can be heard in his voice. Although fans have been quick to note the difference in musical style that this song features compare to Frank’s previous releases who’s to say it’s a bad thing? The evolution of an artist is to be expected between albums, and this change of sound is a natural progression, to stretching too far from his last album but definitely creating something new and exciting.

Speaking about Songbook Frank’s said: “I wanted to release a document of what I’ve done so far, including my favourite recorded songs, 10 new alternative versions of older songs, and one new track. It’s a moment of reflection and celebration of my work as a songwriter to date.”
