TheZineUK went public in 2013 and their following is growing. A unique range of diversity dedicated to creativity.

Above, TheZineUK and playing class friends/ArtBeat regulars, including Paul from Joyzine, enjoying Lan Dyons & The Wet Nurse.
Their ethos is recognised by the dedicated team who put their magic into this multi media, and for their passion to platform new and established bands. They have created an exceptional concept in delivering fresh and vibrant, aurally and visually artistic talents.

Along with Dizzy Spell their Music Editor, Jeff Moh, photographer magnifique (both present this evening) are new reporter, Terry Cedar (live streaming/interviewing), Jonny Apz (filming) as well as and yours truly, reviewing the surge of exciting bands and new sounds, including this evening. Photographer, Lorna Cort, writer, Monefa Walker, Fashion director, Ben Dodd and Live events, Caffy St Luce, are also in the house. As are various independent music media and industry. Connecting.

I arrived at the Amersham Arms and met Dizzy for the first time - a blond delight with a punk vibe. She asked me to sit in with her and interview a music collective #VibesONLY, three talented young gents that are currently at Uni in Sheffield and producing some eclectic new wave sounds that steer away from Grime. They will be coming to London soon so watch TheZineUK for more information and the interview.

The night's live entertainment kicked off with Jean Genie's Massive Hugs. A Beautiful acoustic set with her distinctive whispering voice. Jean has a magical presence on stage and a simplicity that really lifts her songs to the skies. I wanted to jump up and have a massive hug! Delicate strums and first class song writing makes her a musician you must check out.

The Fucking Skeletons rocked up on stage like a box of fireworks ready to be ignited. Their energy is out of this world and their set so very, very tight! 'Exile', 'Wild' and 'Danger' - three explosive songs that set the room alight and had everybody dancing.

Wake Up Leo know exactly what they are musically doing. They have grasped the art of enticing their audience and producing and performing excellent songs. 'Nowhere To Go' and 'Stripper' were real crowd pleasers and really brought their talent to the fore.

Lan Dyon and The Wet Nurse closed the evening with a great set. Their dreamlike tripsville sound is truly unique and unforgettable. It was great to see the whole bandm as the last time I saw them at The Crowndale, there were only three. Some of, or the whole band, they are still excellent and were a great end to to a fantastic evening.

To conclude the night there had to be a shiny cherry to add to the icing on the cake. That came in the form of brilliant and quirky DJ, Disco Marky, spinning his tunes and closing the evening with a huge bang! A week or so later and his presence is in demand at Reading Festival. Keep an eye and ear our for what this chapter creates. Next music social is on Wednesday 13th September in alliance with Club Fandango and Fierce Panda Records.
