The ArtBeat vibe returns on May The 4th with an All Star No Wars show at Amersham Arms where we welcome L.A. rockers, Glam Skanks to the UK before their dates as special guests of Adam Ant who they have been supporting in USA (with thanks to Simon Price for the shout out). Warming up for their return appearance at The Great Escape Festival later that month are newer wave upstarts, The Lodgers, who made such a huge impression on us last year, effortlessly cool and quite rightly rapidly gaining in reputation. Compere, Jean Genie and DJ, Disco Marky, are your hosts for the evening. They know how to bring a party.
These are the next two chapters of a story that is taking on legs of its own as an escapism in dystopian times. We will also have a radio show by the end of them, too.
