TheZineUK Music Social 4, 2nd March, London

The Garage Flowers

Friendships and reputation are being made at our occasional, memorable social gatherings. On Thursday 2nd March we have The Garage Flowers (pictured), Dronningen, Alsatian, Thomas Cameron, Rohan Murray (and an early doors appearance by Anita Maj).

All are artists stepping from our documentary story of uniqulture on line, into the same room on land. Hope that you can make it. Guaranteed entry tickets are only £4 in advance (including fee) from this link (artists supporters pls make yourselves known a.s.a.p. for crew list). It's an 18+ event and only £5 on the door. Intimate space, mind, so come early.

From 7pm we chat downstairs then doors open 8pm for the show. Approximate stage times; Anita Maj (who has built a reputation for herself on both sides of the Atlantic with fantastic song writing and performing skills) will appear at 8.10pm and introduce another of our friends, a poetic heart (and London rock n roll face), Rohan Murray at around 8.25pm for a quick set of around 10-15 minutes, in turn followed by the multi talented Thomas Cameron, 8.40-9.10pm, playing a special show for us this evening. A sneak preview of his acoustic album which is due for release later this year. He has a presence that, like Anita, made the ArtBeatFest audience really sit up last Spring.

Hugs from us to one of London's key tipsters, Heather Minx, who introduced us to rock trio, Alsatian, who are attracting industry interest and great feedback already as well as being a welcome addition to our extending collective of talents. 9.15 to 9.45pm

10pm to 10.30pm the Electro Rock power of Dronningen, tinged with their glamour and energy is set to go off like fire crackers. Female Fronted Fantastica.

10.45pm to 11.15pm - The Garage Flowers take to the stage to rock and roll the East End. It.s been a year since we noticed them at a gig promoted by our own Jean Genie, then accosted them a few days later at another event, promoted by our Dizzy Spell, it feels like it was meant to be. Thanks to Jonny n Joe for supporting the artists at the ArtBeatFest expo, too. This is the bands first show for us, and its our first event of 2017

11.30pm may end the evening with more shenanigans. you know how it is.

The Urban Bar, 176 Whitechapel Road, London E1 1BJ at the entrance to the Royal London Hospital and just a short walk from Whitechapel station.

Stage timings are approximate, due to the performers being human, but luckily the curfew of the venue is midnight and the last tubes are half past midnight, so there is time to socialise and drink after the performances. We usually manage to run on time though. It's an informal evening of good songs and quality potential. So far, reaping rewards of some kind from every show. Invite you scouting and documenting friends to #ShareTheJoy as we say
