Rock's renaissance continues like the nation's biggest secret, underground. Picture report; The Velvet Hands, Weekend Recovery and Vito. All with praise and interest to their name. They supported Billy Bibby & The Wry Smiles (ex Catfish & The Bottlemen) and Pink Hotel, at Camden Monarch for monthly new music event, Mark Beaumont Presents. Also spotted, were various music world faces, including BBC Introducing, Big Jim Cambo, Beans On Toast, Bugeye, Dronningen, Kelly Munro (head of the increasingly influential End Of The Trail records, management, events) and poet, Rohan Murray along-side some of Sisteray's wrecking crew, out to play. It was loud and lively. Like John Kennedy of X Radio's free monthly shows at Tooting Tramshed, Mark Beaumont (NME)'s mid month shows are one of our regular London haunts since Chapter 1 of our music movement story set TheZineUK on the situationist road to whatever happens next.
