Music Socials - The New Industry is DIY

The best bands mixing with crowds of their peers and supporters makes for one hell of a party vibe. Uniqulture in ACTION means that every one of TheZineUK sessions, since this situationist travelling circus began New Year 2014, is packed with excitement, love, laughter and creativity. Also with industry and media, grass roots, DIY and mainstream. Thank you poetic souls, can't wait for whatever happens next. Lets escape Dystopia for a few hours with noisy funshine! Our first triple treat of Inner London meet ups are North - North - 8th February at Camden Monarch (free entry - starts 7pm), East - 2nd March at Urban Bar Whitechapel (7pm downstairs, 8pm show upstairs £5/£4 adv.) and South - 1st April #ArtBeatFest 2017 at Amersham Arms. All 5 minutes max walk from a TFL station, 18+ shows.

Pictured, just two of our rock n roll musical sunshine bringers, Anita n Jean Genie!

Actually, all this extending family of uniqulture are not just talented, connecting and welcoming, but also inspiring. So IN LOVE with everything about music. Otherwise, how would TheZineUK be able to tell a story where the stars of every chapter keep twinkling brighter?

On Wednesday 8th February 2017, a massive thank you to Mark Beaumont (NME) for letting us have our first gathering at his "Presents" night. Middle band of five (for £0!!!) (join the FB event for the line up and updates) are The Velvet Hands who played at our Urban Bar Social No.2 last Spring and are definitely both kinds (up AND coming. rock AND roll). Instant garage rock tunes, jump around fun and this week's BBC London featured band. Hopefully you can join us for chats and news, early doors before the show if you are in The Capital.

This show is a celebration of The Velvet Hands' (widely recommended) new single 'I Don't Mind' // 'The End.' with their friends, old and new.

Vinyl collectors, grab a blue 7" on the night. More about the band in TheZineUK's recent articles 'I Don't Mind The Velvet Hands' and 'The Future Stars Are Here Now'.

On Thursday 2nd March 2017, we extend a warm welcome to TheZineUK's Live Music Social No.4 at The Urban Bar in E1. There will be buzzing live performances from acoustic and punk rock to poetry, from The Garage Flowers, Dronningen, Alsatian, Thomas Cameron, Rohan Murray, Anita Maj (pictured above) and friends, on and off the dance floor.

Its an intimate evening upstairs that is so ridiculously friendly that new futures are made every time. We met Rohan via the Sisteray family (who also gave us our ace photographer, Sandy K. Moz), Thomas Cameron stunned ArtBeatFest 2016 into awed silence. Come and meet him previewing an album release for later this year. Alsatian are industry interest loaded rock with a giant sound.

Dronningen (video; live bootlege of 'White Saliva') are the femme powered rock sensation that we discovered at the influential End Of The Trail' Records night, playing with SONS. So they are all part of Uniqulture's Music Movement story, by being in our tale. Loving everybody's energy. They jumped around, down the front of the dance floor, with Rohan, to the bands at our most recent event. And now they are together again, this time, ON the stage. This tapestry weaves music MAGIC. We actively seek the right artists to make the best events possible. Click "Chapters" above, this is 4REAL.

The Garage Flowers will make you laugh or rage but rock out, either way, you don't leave one of our gigs un-entertained!

Check out their new, Paul Tipler produced video; 'Nothing's Gonna Get Me Down Today'. Yup, its gonna be one of those nights!

Here is the link to get in to TheZineUK Music Social No.4 for £4 inclusive. It's only £5 on the door. More about our 2nd March (and 1st April) stars to follow. If you can support the bands with previews, interviews, reviews, £ deals etc., then please get in touch for our (limited) crew list. You can also get £4 list via the bands, but come early as space is limited and we have got the above mix of people all in the same room on the same night!

Click Here for the results of the first ArtBeatFest in April 2016 - an idea of what we are always trying to achieve, results wise for the special musicians in our tale. Stay tuned, but in the mean time, the poet at our most recent social was Jimmy Bowman, also presenter of The Glass Collector's Radio Show who had this to say in their ArtBeatFest Special; "Events like this are so important and shouldn't be overlooked."

Yeah. What Jimmy said!!!
