In one line; we are living in an (austerity inflicted) golden age of pop culture classics.

Gutxi Bibang at This Feeling

Gutxi Bibang has just soundchecked at This Feeling #BigIn2017

All artists mentioned here are potential GREATS, and this is just for starters. What a time to be a music lover.

Indian Queens wowing the room.

Every show was £5 or under, entry.

The Velvet Hands, Camden Rocks Presents at Proud.

Everybody, audience, industry, media, enjoy and act NOW please?

The Cosmics, living up to their name at #BigIn2017

As this is a story, let's TELL it.

M O S E S start 2017 at Peggy Presents, in Hoxton

In the recent 485C article, the following quote: "As for all the "heard it all before types", you're wrong. You couldn't have, because this is the first time in history that creative youth has to survive 21st century dystopia."

Captivating; Emily Capell at This Feeling

Make Your Own Art / Rock Stars / Future and History NOW. At TheZineUK, ours is balancing the lamestream negativity with the power of positivity pulsing in the small venues. Its already happening. Our picture book chapters bear witness.

Gutxi Bibang - Big In 2017

In the first working week of 2017 I experienced live music from artists that wouldn't be out of place on Later With Jools Holland. Our TV show is virtually, "Earlier With TheZineUK" and it's stars are lively, inspiring, stylish, energetic, passionate and deserving of every chance possible.

poetic x soul; Family Jools with guest, Gavin Martin

Gavin Martin was on stage with Family Jools for End Of The Trail Records (for Mark Beaumont of NME, who stages best new bands events mid monthly) on Wednesday. I mention it because Gavin created Alternative Ulster punk fanzine, and the tune they played when The Velvet Hands came off stage made that come into my head.

Indian Queens, especially special.

From Family Jools free gig at The Monarch, I had walked along the road to see Indian Queens at The Lock Tavern, another free gig. Again, WHAT a band.

Addictive; The Velvet Hands

On Saturday I returned to Camden firstly to meet 485C at The Good Mixer for their interview with Dizzy Spell and photos by Sandy K. Moz, then to catch The Velvet Hands play Camden Rocks presents (both bands have played shows for This Feeling, which is the evening's finale adventure).

Dig the new breed: The Cosmics x The Blinders at This Feeling #BigIn2017

The TF Zone is like a gloriously noisy, punky, peace and love convention. It is very telling that there are so many photographers here.

So good to catch Blackwaters again #BigIn2017

The Brits and NME awards etc are next month, but #BigIn2017 feels DIY and belongs to anybody that wants to get involved.

Good people can never have too much REVOLT in them. The Blinders, included.

Wall to wall stars on and off the stage, friends, hugs, laughs, Jack Daniels and genuine squeals. Proper.

Gutxi Bigang at This Feeling

If ever we were going to create moments of #heaven17 (we have a dream, on this, the 50th anniversary year of the first Summer Of Love), then this weekend is the perfect start.

The Velvet Hands at Camden Rocks presents

Working Week 1 is rounded off on Sunday, beautifully, by Asylums being on Channel 4 TV in the day, and MOSES free entry headline set, announced by Peggy of Pretty Presents as "The Future Of Rock N Roll", in Hoxton, that evening.

Victor, M O S E S, Hoxton

This is all just the tip of a very big, very cool iceberg, and London, where I had these funs, is just one tiny, invisible, pin prick on a planet that needs all the positive inspiration that it can get.

Blackwaters at This Feeling

The story will just keep growing.

The Blinders - BigIn2017

This Feeling's top tips zone rolls into Manchester this weekend (check for tickets), and Glasgow on February 11th.

The Velvet Hands, free entry launch party show, London, February 8th

TheZineUK music socials are 8th February (with Mark Beaumont Presents at Camden Monarch, free entry), March 2nd at Urban Bar Whitechapel. Our new music expo #ArtBeatFest returns in April.

The Blinders. Blinding.

We CAN all be the escapism. Make ART n lets pARTy.

Pix/Words; Caffy. Talent: The Artists.
