Good times. Come on! Leeds and Reading Festival

26-28 August 2016, Festival Republic presents Reading/Leeds Festival, England.

The millennium has turned 16. It is a landmark year for an enormous live music event, across the north and south of England. Leeds and Reading Festival crowds will party together with a mixture of massive names and massive potential, appearing live before double their audiences (i.e. they play two shows, one at each site) over the bank holiday weekend.

With rock n guitar bands exploding all over this year for the near future's pleasure, plus headline sets from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foals, Biffy Clyro, Disclosure and Fall Out Boy this ticket is hot, even if summer, so far, is saving itself for later in the year! August?

Reading is already sold out, so if you want to catch this line up, grab your Leeds Festival tickets pronto - get IN! http://www.leedsfestival.com/tickets and be part of this iconic weekender that has become a national treasure of the British music world calendar, attracting fans from the entire globe (as recently verified by Music Venue Trust).

It's a positive party. The BBC Radio1 Xtra stage is a virtual festival in it's own right with a line up that includes Big Narstie bigging up Grime on the mic and Charlie (somebody give this man a TV show, please) Sloth and David Rodigan (!) on the decks.

Leeds and Reading Festival weekend has got a special place in our collective heart for various reasons.

Even more so since the amazing photo imagery of the 2014 and 2015 events by our rising star photographers - Duncan Stafford and Tarquin Clark helped turn our small, independent media into an expanding family of music movement.

Eccentric ideas and performance of them are something that the UK has always done well. Britain celebrates 40 years of both Punk and Rock Against Racism in 2016.

It feels like the above line up, from all over the world, celebrates that, too.
