ENNÈ-chanting

ENNÈ (pronounced "En") is the entertaining, super song bird poet to watch carefully as she leaves a trail of praise and awe on her adventures.

When essential music site (and our ArtBeatFest collaborators), Kitmonsters, caught her New Cross show recently, they reviewed the moment as "Soulful grooves, tons of attitude, and writing songs with the crowd - ENNÈ what a find!"

We also hear very good things from her appearance at the launch of the SXSE music networking circuit at Traitors Gate in Essex, this week. Tickets are almost gone, snapped up immediately, for a DIY, intimate show mid July.

We have a great feeling about ALL of the artists that were part of the recent New Music Expo, and they deserve the great feedback and opportunities that are coming their way. One of the important differences about that weekend were the artists watching each other.

There seems to be this 21st century "indie-peeps" thing of getting in and out of a venue for one set, whether to entertain or be entertained. Our social was about making friends via #uniqulture . With a room of musical peers, music fans who like what we're about, quality wise, and industry (grass roots and otherwise) new futures were made right there and then. We had a mixture of genres and ideas fusing. See future for details!

Half way through the six months (April to September) of updates, so much is already happening, but we care that they keep (deservedly) rising. So stay runed for updates. The #Britz16 tags tip the 2017 Ones To Watch. Already. Why wait until the mainstream media's "Listmas" in winter?

Decide for yourself; Click here for a recent filmed ENNÈ interview at EC1 Studios. This charming vocal, composition and multi instrumentalist talent discusses her music, a LOT of great news (release and live shows coming) and her involvement with the London Neo Soul Collective.

With special thanks to A&R sisters, Jean Genie Graham and Esther Ford, for the tip off.

words; Caffy St Luce
