Horse Party's thoroughbred album; 'Horizons'.

Horse Party are a thoroughbred Classic Rock Band who sound like they should be a household name. That's the power of the grass roots music venue quality of composition and performance right now and you'd be mad, music fanatic, not to let them grab your attention.

Their new album, 'Horizons' (R*E*P*E*A*T Records), arrives on April 1st in a key year for British guitar bands - no fooling. These Darker Ages are also one of the most fertile and credible times for home grown talent having bigger potential through necessity.

'Horizons' starts off sassy and doesn't let up.

Freakin' huge tunes. See videos for a taster! Tracks: Out Of Sight, Receiver, What I'd Do, Horizons, For All I Know, Paydirt, Animal, October, Money Talks, Rocket Science, Looking For Life, Howling At The Sun

'Horizons' will be available on iTunes/Spotify etc, plus there is a CD digipak version with an extra (and damn fine) track - 'Gratitude Falling' - and a dozen-page booklet. The CD will be in all the finest record shops or pre-order it from the band directly at https://horsepartyparty.bandcamp.com/album/horizons

It has been a few years since catching Horse Party live but they were already a powerful chunk of rock then, and have since been on a sharp trajectory to being even boulder, now. 'Horizons' takes you on an aural journey, via layers and of light versus heavy orchestrations and textures of hard and gentle dynamics, but all delivered with a confidence that gives them an international feel. And hooks.

Video; 'Gratitude Falling' live at Lattitude Festival. Wait, is that Sue Perkins making a cameo appearance? Anyway, yeah, that's the band whose show won me over right away.

Artists that we nickname #Britz16 could save future festivals, rising from early slots to headline contenders, organically, like they make their name on the Music Venues Alliance circuit, a finishing school for honing stage craft and winning new friends.

As per the current (real) next music industry, Horse Party's extended circle of cottage industry takes in the anti-establishment multi-tasking R*E*P*E*A*T Records, home to artists with something to say. Very often, defiantly. The 'Horizons' album artwork is by Kate Wood and the band themselves are involved with promoting other artists at live events on their East Anglia home turf. Some of the video filming is by Katy Evans of "Team Horse Party" (there should be a league of band gangs) and this live image with new member, Catherine on page is by Jeff Higgot Photography.
