Momentum is a grassroots movement born from a truly diverse group of Jeremy Corbyn supporters. Uniting safely, in mutual respect, in communities and workplaces to campaign and organise on the issues that matter. Obviously it's a bigot-free zone for all walks of life who share a passion for contemporary, progressive, socially democratic politics or just the company of every day good friends and good times. 2015 needs all the escapism it can get.

Baddies are in charge and politicians are all such tories that they have to wear different colour ties on TV debates. Real people are apathetic with no real choice. I vote Labour in defiance, more than anything else but am not surprised when, with only 24% of the nation behind them, the people that stole all our money to give to the bankers that finance their party then enforce Austerity on us (wow, re-stealing, gotta love the 21st century) get back in and continue their suicide/hunger games while quaffing champagne and continue finding new uses for pork that even Heston Blumenthal may raise an eyebrow at.

Fast forward to right here, right now, the eve before Momentum Arts (2016) comes into sight at the Momentum Xmas Party

Wednesday 16th December 2015 was the 100th day of Jeremy Corbyn being our most talked about human being (in every sense of the word) and inspiration.

The Zine UK has worn its JC-supporting heart on it's sleeve since Summer and our good friend Denis (Red Cable Sunday) has been part of this story and entourage. In short, of course there is joy in the air that a hopeful future is now possible.

Warmongers, Haters, Propaganda (posing as politicians and media), plus the people that still believe in them, have never given anybody a harder time than they have the new Labour Leader. In the face of it all, Jeremy Corbyn has shown dignity and reason. Bringing back very British values to politics.

Division spreaders, conscious cruelty inflicters and cowards who inflict death and destruction (before doing their Christmas shopping, of course) have reigned their fear borne wrath and scorn upon him relentlessly. Villains get a better press than Jeremy Corbyn. Traitors in the party that he has now made so electable that it is closing in on the SelfServatives pour their vitriol against their best hope instead of doing what they were elected to do, and being The Opposition to the most despised “government” in history.

It's an own goal. Britain likes fair play and these actions have opened the eyes of the more thoughtful previous cynics. The 200 to 1 outsider for the Labour Leadership race who got in at literally the very last minute has changed the landscape so much that whatever happens now is a historic landmark to judge, that had rewritten the future. The Force really has awoken. So many people will not be told what to believe, how to think, who their heart should follow. We are getting our instincts back, and the grass roots movement of humanity that is Momentum was born out of communal empathy, creating new families of friends nationwide.

I (personally) want change, equality, peace, love, health, education, employment, and real childhood so that the future is green, clean and far from mean. So I have been to a couple of Momentum meetings locally (packed, democratic, often tinged with accidental comedy met with good humour, because we are REAL).

I almost can't wait for 2016 when Momentum Arts blooms across the land because this is a country that likes to make a song and dance about things. A nation of fetes and festivals with a uniqulture of the globe's human family making our sports, food, entertainment, ideas, culture and creativity a world leader. For this kind of nation, then Jeremy Corbyn is, in fact, already the People's Prime Minister. His statemanship is why he has the most opposition of all - because he the country's LEADER.

Let the right wing bully real people for having good hearts. Let fascism create increasingly riduculous fabrications with nothing to back them up. It makes us stronger.

We need Momentum and Momentum Arts. We've got Momentum Hearts. Thank you Jeremy Corbyn and your supporters. I would never want you to be perfect, just humane, so I'll be raising a glass or two to you on Friday night. We have some SERIOUS celebrating to do at various Labour positive events this holiday season, and this is just one of them! The rest of the world know...
