I, personally, couldn't give a flying fuck about this time of year and it's parties, cos I'm a christmas grinch, but this line up will make even me smile; A trip up the East London? Yeah, it's been too long since I've been to 596 Holloway Road, but rock n roll roof raisers, Trampolene, have tempted me to go out for a good time. Booking wizard, and a multi music talent in his own right, Zachery Stephenson is doing great things with what was already one of London's landmark gig locations, since it's reincarnation just over a year ago.

I'd mentioned somewhere before that I thought they were natural heirs to Manic Street Preachers. Not just Britain's best flag (“yeah, like St George could kill a dragon with that little prick”, I paraphrase Howard Marks) but the broad thinking, rock music antheming, literature loving, iconagraphic image appreciating artists of which I am either a fan or too much of a fan. These 21st Century thrillers reeled me in with fine words. There is always poetry in emotion and it flows from this star shaped band. Trampolene have got ear-bomb songs that you can get your noisy-pop-star loving teeth into. They have on line presence, merchandise, DL and physical releases, many youthful energy fused gigs under their belts; a body of considered hard work that belies any calls of “hype” or the need for name dropping shopping lists (tho they have these bonuses up their sleeves, too).
