DOLLS. It's rock n roll Play Time

Belinda Conde (drums) and Jade Ellins (vocals and guitar)

are rocking raw, deadly duo, DOLLS.

Not only do they obviously love what they do, intensely, but others are loving it too. When fellow rising star, photographer Keira Cullinane, tips us off about a band we want to listen. In the eye of the buzz band storm, she's at many of the must-see gigs and knows her stuff (and took these images).

Spot on! 'Kid Kannibal' is a powerful and driving anthem to turn the volume up for, and the latest release from this London based buzz band with a high voltage of primal music energy. The song means business from the word go. It starts sassy with a striptease beat and keeps rocking out like filthy fury. Fantastic.

'Kid Kannibal'/'Audrey' have a grand sound that was recorded with creative producer, Rohan Budd, who has experience across the genres. The tracks were mastered by John Davies (who has also worked with Royal Blood, Led Zeppelin and U2).

Hungry for love? DOLLS are at the core of the noisy fun set to celebrate the millenium turning 16 (we, The Zine, say Make 2016 Sexy!) and punk's 40th anniversary celebrations. Talking of fun, how can you see the images at www.facebook.com/thisisdolls and not want to be in a band? DOLLS obviously know how to play – on and off stage!

A growing reputation of positivity has been nurtured from their first release 'King Time ' / 'Sandman' (Winter 2014) onwards. The DOLLS addiction grows on the live circuit via cracking appearances at some of the most recommended venues, support slots and independent festivals this year – recently to the point where they sold out of CDs. Credible new music gurus like John Kennedy and Joyzine are among their growing legion of admirers.

Click to hear here! 'Kid Kannibal' Souncloud - Available to music fans from 4th December 4th (CD/Download). The launch party will be loudly unmissable at The Sebright Arms in East London on December 8th. It's free entry, too so grab a CD.

I'm so glad that DOLLS found us. Straight on to TheZineUK's #WildeLifeAwards hitlist of bands to follow for 2016.

Respect to Jade n Bel, and let's get ready to PLAY!

Forget mannequins... choose DOLLS!
