Footy, Bar and Rock n Roll - SoccerSixFest SMASHES it.

All kinds of Good People having Good Times for Good Causes made for one very great day.

At Mile End Stadium, a mix of Celebrities, Rock n Rollers, Actors and Sports personalities united with fans, friends and followers for the most surreal episode of "Eastenders" ever, where Max and Gus from Walford find themselves at SoccerSixFest with lots of lovely young ladies yelling their fave people for autographs, selfies etc. Soccer Six is perfect for people getting to meet folks off the TV and radio, while raising awareness and money for charities.

Soccer Six is always a day of sporting and networking. Above, Paul of Joyzine (music/culture site and radio show), Chris of alt pop band, elephants and castles, Bill of rock band, Mourning Birds meet with music promoter (and, today, photographer) Ian of Golden Cage Media.

Players have swapped musical instruments, DJ decks, studios and dressing rooms for being athletes on the pitch today. They are VERY competitive. The twitter feed @SoccerSixRock had some hilarious pre match banters.

The First Kings get set to perform. Yes there are live shows throughout the day, too.

Alongside the hippy rock chick look in the VIP bar, and ginger beards, this sort of segway (a ShagWay?) seemed to be the accessory of the day.

Teamwork. Joyzine FC (Paul from Joyzine, Dexy of Sweetheart Contract, Josh of The Dredgermen and Lost Film Foundation, Rob of Flash Bang Band and Jimmy, Sam and Bill of Mournng Birds) met outside, bonded and got on the pitch together.

It had been so grey and wet and horrible for a fortnight so this beautiful sunny day was also a little surreal.

Well played all. Winners, Losers, Performers and audience, alike.

Its good to talk.

It's good to relax, too.

Rolo Tomassi - yeah!

Fwar. Massive cup size.

Lois And The Love; bluesy, raucous, full on and out-Jaggering Jagger, at times, a short but sweet burst of a proper live band SHOW.

Some of the biggest names in rock are part of the expanding Soccer Six family of participants.

The Darkness - Win Win!

Cole of Savage Nomads played a blinder as part of This Feeling FC - winners on many levels.

Roll on the next one!
