Lets DIY celebrate the real GREAT Britain. The epitome of which has to be one of 2015's best rootsy n irie pop songs. Pop as in deserves to be very popular - this sound beats any grey sky. Hollie Cook's video for ' Body Beat ft. Horseman' is recognisable as the real people power of the punky reggae party revolution. No matter what your tastes in music, Hollie Cook sure does sing some ear cheering songs tinged with minor chords tunefully and lyrically. I first caught her some years ago at an UpRise Festival fund raiser in Camden and my heart was so warmed that it never cooled down. Caught her again at a Rotten Hill Gang night out in the Wild West (Acton, London!) a lovely lady, a wonderful night.
As good a starting point as any to celebrate #TheBritz which the Zine team have been enjoying since the road show started last year. Hollie Cook is definitely a nominee!
