Brewing Up A Musical Storm in Camden Town

Magic broke out at Camden Town Brewery recently. The kind that only a gathering of music fanatics can make happen. TheZineUK team were part of that, courtesy of Jean Genie's Massive Hugs and James Fisher, two names from the London scene, shaping a story that found us all in the brewery's bar on a wonderful, sunshine and funshine afternoon.

It was the brewery's fifth anniversary weekend and the celebratory vibe of the party at #CTBBar from the previous day was still in the air.

Sundays, 12-9pm at Camden Town Brewery Bar with live music entertainment between 3-6pm. Between us we brought food to share, an alternative weekend lunch together, with the artists entertaining family and friends.

Punk legend, Bruno Wizard, was unable to come along until later but the atmosphere is so laid back that Jean Genie's Massive Hugs and James Fisher played a couple of sets between socialising.

James Fisher's gig in a brewery was the perfect gateway to enter the recording studio, after, to make a debut album. Watch his space... https://facebook.com/fissicella

The following weekend JGMH (pictured below) played the Joyzine Stage at Ambition Festival, then, at time of writing are in session and interview on the Joyzine Radio Show (Wednesdays, 7pm GMT). https://facebook.com/jeangeniesmassivehugs

Lotsa Panda Power extending family lazing on a sunny afternoon. In the summer time. Ru snaps Kosmic Troubadour, Phil Phamous of Rhiannon The Nightmare, and more enjoying great company. The beer drinkers were especially happy at the flavour of freshly made, quality hops based cold refreshments.

Thank you Chris and the Camden Town Brewery Bar gant. We had a fantastic time and such loving feedback from the audience. Musicians, we very much recommend getting involved. Sharing sunday lunch with friends and fans is the way to go... (did somebody just say Strawberry Hells Forever?) http://camdentownbrewery.com/
