Gem And The Deadheads to unleash 'Rebellion'.

How freakin' awesome are this bluesy rock outfit, Gem And The Deadheads? Arriving in the vanguard of the new British Rock Breakout with their debut album, 'Rebellion', in June on West One Music. This video for 'Long Way Down' is a glimpse into their soulful delivery and this is one band/album worthy of serious attention.

The Zine story began with a glimpse of the band in Chapter 1, photographed playing This Feeling Club at a seminal stage in their career. Suddenly "promoted" to going on last, they turned that set into a HEADLINE by owning the stage and crowd. You don't such moments. Gem And The Deadheads stepped up and recorded their debut album and This Feeling continues to champion the new rock n roll through a page of free downloads from potential stars to download for free and events around the UK and beyond. Now a 21st century landmark gig for a band.

The underground music scene is part of The Zine team's every day lives. For the last year it has been a hotbed of poetic soul frustration with the enforced austerity on the unprivileged. Not getting bitter or expecting hand outs, the artists have been provoked into writing bigger songs and being more driven. This is one of the bands that you need to get on your radar.

You are in for a treat-shock when you catch Gem And The Deadheads live. 2015 is the perfect year for 'Rebellion'. @gem_deadhead https://facebook.com/gemandthedeadheads
